Prof. Samuel Ogunwale Ogundiran, a Tapa-born Scholar from Ibarapa North LG, Ibarapa North/Central Constituency, Oyo State has extended warmest Easter greetings to all Christians and people of goodwill.
Ogundiran, a Professor of Educational Administration & Planning at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) recognizes the significance of Easter and its message of love, sacrifice, and redemption.
He joins Christians worldwide in celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, a symbol of hope and renewal.
He called on Nigerians to embrace unity, peace, and understanding.
He said, “In these challenging times, we must come together as a nation, transcending our differences, to build a brighter future for all.”
He also urged citizens to shun divisive tendencies, hate speech, and violence, and instead promote love, tolerance, and mutual respect, emulating Christ’s attitudes.
He said, “May our nation experience peace, stability, and prosperity. May our leaders be guided by wisdom, justice, and fairness for citizens to be empowered with hope, resilience, and determination.
“As we celebrate Easter, let us reflect on our responsibilities as citizens and strive to make a positive impact on our communities. Let us work together towards Nigeria where everyone has access to quality education, healthcare, and opportunities for growth.
“I extend my greetings to the good people of Tapa, Ibarapa North, Ibarapa Zone, Oyo state, Nigeria, and all Christians worldwide.
“I pray that Christ’s love, sacrifice, and victory over death inspire us to live with purpose, compassion, and faith. Amen”.
