FULL LIST: All 48 Countries Competing At 2026 World Cup

The 2026 World Cup is months away, and all playoff matches to determine the final set of qualified nations were completed early Wednesday, with Iraq shocking Bolivia to take the final ticket.

The tournament, to be co-hosted by the USA, Mexico, and Canada, was expanded by FIFA to accommodate 48 nations.

Argentina are the champions and will defend their title alongside five other South American countries, including Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, and Uruguay. They will be joined by five North and Central American nations, including the three co-hosts, the USA, Mexico, and Canada, and the trio of Haiti, Panama, and Curaçao, the tiny country set to debut in the World Cup.

The 16 European nations expected are France, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic, England, the Netherlands, Norway, Scotland, Sweden, Switzerland, and Turkey.

New Zealand is the only representative from Oceania, while the nine Asian countries are Japan, Australia, Iran, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Uzbekistan, and Iraq.

The 10 African countries completing the line-up of nations expected to put on a spectacle in the summer are Morocco, Senegal, the Ivory Coast, Algeria, Egypt, Ghana, South Africa, Tunisia, Cape Verde, and the DR Congo.

The World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19, with 104 matches.
