VISIONARY LEADERS FORUM OF NIGERIA (VLFN) UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTS TPL. SANI ADAMU, FNES, MNITP, FSGI FOR PRESTIGIOUS NATIONAL AWARD OF HONOUR
The Visionary Leaders Forum of Nigeria (VLFN) wishes to inform the general public, the media, and all well-meaning Nigerians that at its National Conference Meeting held recently, the Forum, after a thorough, transparent, and rigorous review of several credible nominations received from across the country, unanimously resolved to adopt TPL. Sani Adamu, FNES, MNITP, FSGI as a worthy recipient of its prestigious National Award of Honour.
The nomination of the highly respected Town Planner was formally presented and exhaustively deliberated upon by the National Executive Council and distinguished members in attendance. Following due process and careful assessment of his outstanding track record, the Forum reached a resounding consensus to confer this well-deserved honour on him.
TPL. Sani Adamu, is a seasoned professional with the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Abuja, has distinguished himself through decades of dedicated service in urban planning, environmental management, and sustainable development. As a Fellow of the Nigerian Environmental Society (FNES), Member of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (MNITP), and Fellow of the Surveyors and Geoinformatics Institute (FSGI), he has also provided exceptional leadership as National Auditor of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP).
His unwavering commitment to public service, community development, and good governance, particularly in his home state of Katsina and the Funtua axis has continued to inspire many. In adopting TPL. Sani Adamu, the Visionary Leaders Forum of Nigeria seeks to achieve the following core objectives:
i. To publicly recognise and celebrate exemplary visionary leadership that combines professional excellence with selfless service to humanity.
ii. To promote the ideals of integrity, transparency, innovation, and sustainable national development among public servants and professionals.
iii. To inspire the younger generation of Nigerians to emulate such role models who are quietly transforming their communities and contributing meaningfully to nation-building.
iv. To reinforce the Forumās mission of identifying, honouring, and encouraging leaders who are truly committed to the progress and unity of our dear nation.
Speaking on the resolution, Aare Ayuba Dhikirullahi, Convener of the Visionary Leaders Forum of Nigeria, stated, āTPL. Sani Adamu represents the very essence of what visionary leadership should be, a man who has consistently demonstrated competence, humility, and dedication in both his professional calling and public service. By honouring him, we are not only celebrating one individual, we are sending a strong message that Nigeria still has leaders worth emulating.
