GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that another popular Nigerian gospel artist, Evangelist Toun Soetan, is dead.
This is coming about a week after the death of Taiwo, one of the twins of the Adegbodu brothers, was announced.
According to information available to The Eagle Online, she died on Friday following a long battle with illness.
Evangelist Soetan would have been 73 years old on June 18, 2026.
She celebrated her 70th birthday at Orita-Mefa Baptist Church in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital on June 18, 2024 with seven hours praise.
Some of her popular songs include: Darling Jesus and On The Mountain.

Her songs often centred on faith, hope, endurance and total dependence on God, themes that resonated deeply with her listeners.
