The Students Union Government of Federal School Of Statistics, Ibadan Campus has mourned the passing away of the institution former Dean of students, Mr Kehinde Dore.
According to sources, the news of Mr Dore demised was announced on Friday, 17 January. Our correspondent couldn’t verify the cause of his death as at the time of filling this report.
Reacting to the sad development, the SUG of the school described the late senior lecturer as a mentor and pillar of academic excellence.
The press release reads:
The Students’ Union Government (SUG) body of the Federal School of Statistics extends its deepest and most heartfelt condolences on the passing of our dear and respected lecturer, Mr. Dore, of the Department of Business Administration and Management.
We received the news of his demise with profound sorrow and a heavy heart. Mr. Dore was not only a lecturer but a mentor, a guide, and a pillar of academic excellence whose dedication to teaching and commitment to student development left an indelible mark on our institution.
His passion for knowledge, patience with students, and unwavering support for our growth will always be remembered and cherished.
We sincerely pray that the Almighty grants him eternal rest and forgives his shortcomings, and that his gentle soul finds perfect peace. May God also grant the family, friends, colleagues, and the entire Federal School of Statistics community the strength, comfort, and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
On behalf of the entire student body, we commiserate with the family of Mr. Dore. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy and know that you are not alone in this moment of grief. His legacy of service, integrity, and impact on students’ lives will continue to live on in our hearts.
