A World Without Women Is Miserable – MFM G.O’s Wife, Olukoya

Dr. Folashade Olukoya, the wife of the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), has called on women to focus on complementing men rather than competing with them, describing women as “divinely designed solutions” for the world.

Speaking to journalists on Saturday at the MFM International Headquarters in Lagos, Dr. Olukoya emphasized that women carry a unique spiritual and social mandate to strengthen families, institutions, and nations.

The event, hosted by the Association of Nigerian Female Organists, was themed ‘Ladies on the Organ, Her Hymn, Her Organ.’

During the session at the Grace Hall Auditorium, Dr. Olukoya clarified the role of women in partnership with men, citing biblical foundations.

“Every woman is a helper. God created women to complement men and strengthen what is lacking,” she said, referencing Genesis 2:15. “Women are designed solutions, not to brush shoulders with men, but to help.”

She further warned that any society that denies women the space to contribute would ultimately suffer. “A world that hates women hates to be helped. Societies that deny women space will remain lonely and miserable,” she added, stressing the urgent need for inclusion and partnership in all sectors of life.

Dr. Olukoya urged women to be bold in expressing their God-given gifts and to occupy “safe spaces” where their voices can be heard. She described the musical program as a milestone for female expression, highlighting the sub-theme: ‘My Organ, My Voice.’

“We have a space to occupy and to deliver our best as God has designed us,” she stated, while praying for women to have a greater global impact.

Dr. Olukoya also expressed deep gratitude to her husband, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, for believing in her vision and encouraging people to fulfill their potential.

Supporting his wife’s stance, the General Overseer, who also attended the event, reiterated MFM’s commitment to “clean, holy music” and the empowerment of women in ministry.

“What a man can do, a woman too can do,” Dr. Daniel Olukoya remarked, noting that the association is inclusive and open to talented women from other denominations.

The high point of the event featured thrilling musical performances by accomplished female organists, showcasing a high level of technical skill and artistic delivery.
