Mawlid 2024: Let’s Renew Our Commitment To Muhammad’s Teachings – Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji Omo BAO

As Muslims around the world celebrate Mawlid Nabbiyyi, an annual festival marking the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal, the people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency are called upon to renew their commitment to the teachings of the Prophet. This call comes from House of Representatives hopeful for Ibadan North, Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji ‘Omo BAO.

In his message to the Muslim faithful of the constituency, Oladeji emphasized the significance of this year’s Mawlid, urging everyone to reflect on the enduring values of the Prophet’s life and teachings. He highlighted how Prophet Muhammad’s example of peace, justice, humility, and service to humanity should inspire all as they strive to uplift the community.

“As we celebrate this year’s Maulid Nabbiy, it is an opportunity for us in Ibadan North to come together, renew our commitment to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and strengthen our faith. His example should guide us as we work to build a better, more united constituency,” *OmoBao said.*

Bashorun Adekunle Oladeji also took the occasion to reaffirm his vision of leadership, expressing his desire to serve the people of Ibadan North in the House of Representatives.

“With your support, I am committed to taking our constituency to greater heights by emulating the Prophet’s values of fairness, integrity, and dedication to the well-being of all,” – he added.
