Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has urged youths, singles, and expectant mothers to trust God and use their waiting periods to serve Him faithfully.
Speaking at the RCCG monthly thanksgiving and special prayer session for singles and expectant mothers at Throne of Grace Parish, Ebute-Metta, Lagos, he reminded worshippers that God is faithful and will fulfill His promises in His own time. The service was themed “From Waiting to Winning.”
He said, “Wait for God; He is not foolish. He knows better than you and knows the future. You were born for a purpose, and that purpose is often linked to the lives of others.”
Pastor Adeboye encouraged believers to build a strong relationship with God, trust His guidance, and submit to His will while waiting for the fulfillment of their desires, including marriage and childbirth.
After the service, Pastor Oladele Balogun, Special Assistant to the General Overseer on Administration, called on Nigerians to turn back to God to overcome national challenges.
He said, “If we continue in evil, the waiting will persist. But if Nigerians trust God, our waiting is over.”
He advised citizens to stay faithful, avoid ungodly acts, and rely on God, assuring that He will never fail you.
