GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and Pakistan Air Force (PAF) have deepened defence cooperation following a high-level meeting in Abuja.
PAF’s Director General of Weapons Development, MI Khattak, met with NAF Chief of Air Staff, Hasan Bala Abubakar, to discuss strategies for boosting operational readiness, cutting costs, and advancing indigenous capabilities.
Abubakar noted that the partnership is geared towards mutual growth, with a focus on research, precision-guided munitions, and enhanced training.
Khattak commended the professionalism of the NAF and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting Nigeria’s air power objectives.
The collaboration, both parties agreed, will strengthen the capacity of their air forces while contributing to regional security.
