‘Jesus Is Coming This Month’, Another Pastor Reveals Rapture’s Day

A South African pastor recently claimed that Jesus could be making a return on Sept. 23, with the Feast of Trumpets ringing in the Rapture and Judgment Day.

In a viral YouTube video, Pastor Joshua Mhlakela claims he saw Jesus in a divine vision returning to Earth during this year’s Rosh Hashanah — a date some Christians are already linking to prophecy.

“The rapture is upon us, whether you are ready or not,” Mhlakela said in a sit-down interview with CettwinzTV and said.

“I saw Jesus sitting on his throne, and I could hear him very loud and clear saying, ‘I am coming soon.’”

The pastor added, “He said to me on the 23rd and 24th of September 2025, ‘I will come back to the Earth.’”

Come Sept. 23, Jesus might be dropping by — or maybe it’s just a celestial dress rehearsal for the faithful.

Beneath the YouTube video, many commenters also seemed convinced that the pastor was onto something.

“My 10yr daughter dreamt of the rupture recently,” one wrote as another user added, “Wow, I can read people and Joshua is 100% telling the truth. I never even listen to videos claiming visions, but God told me to watch this.”

Someone else replied, “I choose to be ready spiritually [for Jesus’ return] because nobody knows the date or the time.”

One other agreed: “It’s better to be on the safe side than sorry. Rather than argue, let’s stay watchful and keep ourselves ready, only God knows the hour. Last month I also had a vision, I dreamt I was dreaming….and the Lord appeared, telling me He is coming soon.”

The Rapture, a concept in Christian end-times lore, promises believers a fast-track getaway from seven years of chaos and doom known as the Tribulation — before Jesus returns to set up paradise.

Despite the hype, both faithful and doubters warn there’s no telling the day or hour, as reported by the Daily Mail. This means Jesus likely isn’t RSVPing in advance.

But could the signs be here already?

Earthlings got a front-row seat to a ‘blood moon’ Sept. 7 and 8, as the full moon turned a spooky, apocalyptic red — just like Joel 2:28-31 warned.

The notable passage in the Bible reads, “The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.”

Red moon rising: whether cosmic signal or biblical déjà vu, the skies had everyone talking end times this week.

The Bible promises believers will be scooped up to heaven in 1 Thessalonians 4:16 — but it never says when, leaving doomsday guessers plenty of room to speculate.

As The Post previously reported, NASA may have also recently backed one of the Bible’s most dramatic moments — the crucifixion of Jesus — with a cosmic twist.

Astronomical models suggest a lunar eclipse turned the moon red over Jerusalem on Friday, April 3, 33 AD, the date many scholars link to Jesus’ death.

And that eerie sky? Just like Matthew 27:45 says: “From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land.”
