The Oyo state All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth leader, Hon. John Aremu has called on Ibadan North residents to come out in masses to vote during the upcoming by-election.
Speaking with my newsmen on Friday, Hon. Aremu told people especially the youths to shun violence during the election and focus on the goal of delivering the APC flag bearer.
He said, “for the interest of Ibadan North people and Oyo state at large, and for continuity of the good works of late Hon. Musiliu Akinremi Jagaban, the mandate of delivering Hon. Wale Olatunji Murphy is the people’s mandate. It belongs to all of us.
“Not just about APC or the party, but about what the constituents will benefit when they give the hurdle to the right person to continue from where Hon. Jagaban stopped.
“That’s why Ibadan North people must come out as one, vote for Murphy, and shun all sorts of violence.
“Especially the youths, they may want to engage you, but be calm, be focused, don’t allow anyone to distract us from the glory ahead.
The Ibadan North by-election is slated to hold tomorrow, Saturday 16, August, 2025.
