Sheik Zakariyah Yusuf Ageshin has been conferred as the Mufty Diyar of the Tijaniyat Faedot Ibrahimyat, Oyo Central Senatorial District.
In a notification letter sighted by our correspondent, the Islamic group said the conferment is due to Sheik Ageshin’s antecedent and immeasurable contributions to Islamic affairs.
“It’s with praise to Almighty Allah, the above named Authority/Elders of this organization wishes to notify you that you have been chosen to confer as Mufutydyari of Oyo Central Senatorial District”, the statement reads in part.
The group also prayed that God should continue to bless the prominent cleric in all his endeavors.
The new dispensation is coming amidst Sheik Ageshin’s welcome back celebration from 2025 Hajj.
