I, Maisamari Yohanna Hassan was born on 6th December ; lately 1990s in U/Romi. Lusawa Street. Born and brought up in Chikun.
Am Gbagyi by tribe. I am a twin, but my arrival brought unexpected rejection. My father divorced my mother, deeming the birth of twins an abomination in our family. My mother, heartbroken, returned to her father’s house in Zokoriko Kudenda Kaduna with my twin sister and me.
Five years later, my mother remarried, leaving us with our grandparents in kudendan Zokoriko Kaduna. Despite their struggles as peasant farmers, they worked tirelessly to provide for us.
As I grew older, I took on the responsibility of supporting my grandparents. I learned vulcanizing when I was at the age of twelve and used the income to support my family and pay my school fees.
My hard work earned me a scholarship after my primary school from one of the best private school in my community called Goshen Land International Schools. From junior secondary school to senior secondary school.
I continued to excel academically, earning admission to Kaduna Polytechnic, where I studied Public Administration. Today, I’m a proud graduate, and my vulcanizing business continues to thrive.
Despite the challenges I faced, my determination and hard work brought me to where I am today. However, I need your support to take my business to the next level.
