The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state on Community Engagement Hon. Sulaimon Musa Olalekan has urged Christians to follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ by showing love to others, even their enemies.
In his Easter message sighted by GISTSMATE MEDIA correspondent, Hon. Sulaimon disclosed that it’s important to show love to everyone, including our adversaries.
He said, “Jesus lifestyle teaches love, perseverance and determination to triumph over all struggles.”
“Even to the point of death, Jesus does not curse any of his enemies, instead he prayed for them. He showed us how we can live in peace with everyone.
“To persevere with others, not minding ethnicity, religion or political affiliation, but treating everyone with love and respect, these are what should be our watchwords this festive season.”
Hon. Sulaimon also prayed for peace in Osun state and Nigeria as a whole.
He said, “may this season bring abundant restoration to Nigeria, may God be with our Dear Governor, Ademola Adeleke and his family, and grant him more knowledge to govern the state into overflowing prosperity.”
“I am wishing all Osun state Christians angelic visitation during this season”, he concluded.
