Nigerian music sensation Asake has bought a house for his father, Fatai Odunsi, and also sent money to take care of his medical bills.
This is coming few days after Mr. Odunsi took to social media to accuse Asake of abandoning him, since his health began deteriorating in 2022.
Odunsi, who has been battling a stroke, also alleged that Asake has not been financially supportive despite his fame and success.
However, in a new video released on Sunday, Asake’s father revealed that his son has reached out to him.
Speaking in Yoruba, Mr Odunsi said “I am proud of him” as he showered prayers on Asake.
He added that he called out Asake because it has been long he saw him.
