Youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State have presented a ₦100 million cheque to Governor Ahmed Ododo for the purchase of President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election nomination form.
The cheque was presented on Sunday at the Youths Endorsement Rally held at the Muhammadu Buhari Square in Lokoja.
Speaking at the event, National Youth Council of Nigeria President, Babangida Onimisi, said the gesture signified the youths’ endorsement of Tinubu for a second term, citing his leadership and ongoing reforms.
APC National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel, said Tinubu’s and Ododo’s policies have positively impacted youths nationwide, while Kogi APC Chairman, Abdullahi Bello, praised the initiative and called for continuity.
Responding, Governor Ododo thanked the youths and pledged to deliver the cheque to the president, describing the 2027 election as a choice between progress and rhetoric.
Hundreds of APC youths from across Kogi’s 21 local government areas attended the rally.
